The seabed elevation (bathymetry) and acoustic imagery data (backscatter) were collected using multibeam echosounders (MBES) on several small vessels either owned or under contract to eTrac Inc. in 2018. The data were processed and corrected for motion, sound speed, and other major artifacts by eTrac personnel. All data were acquired in accordance with the requirements in the Project Instructions and specifications set forth in the Hydrographic Survey Specifications and Deliverables 2018 Edition (HSSD 2018). The surveys are accurate to International Hydrographic Organization (IHO) Order 1a as required per the HSSD 2018. The corrected bathymetry base surface can be used to interpret the seafloor topography habitat types and extend the range of existing habitat map products. The acoustic imagery (backscatter) aspect of the data, where available, can help further this interpretation.
