20221206 13493700 1.0 TRUE Oyster Several GIS layers depicting oysters in the Choptank HFA have been developed and are presented here: Named oyster bars including “Yates Bars” described in 1911 (Smith et al. 1997), Biogenic and Anthropogenic oyster reef areas (MD iMap 2016b); oyster management areas; and oyster monitoring sites in the Choptank HFA.
