This data layer depicts the classified mean habitat suitability for Antipathes dendrochristos from habitat suitability models predicting the spatial distribution of Antipathes dendrochristos offshore of the continental U.S. West Coast to 1200 m depth. The mean predicted habitat suitability from 100 models fit to bootstrap samples of the occurrence data was classified into a map with four habitat suitability classes ('very low', 'low', 'medium', 'high') using a series of breakpoints identified through receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve analysis. See the study technical report (Poti et al. 2020) for details. |
