Service Description: Identification of water-bottom (seafloor) seismic amplitude anomalies in the deep northern Gulf of Mexico. These anomalies identify areas that are different from the typical soft sediment that covers most of the deep ocean. Likely hard bottom areas that potentially can support deep live-bottom communities such as deep corals or chemosynthetic communities.
