Description: Spot mean catch per unit effort (CPUE) averaged over a time period (2000-2007). All CPUE values for sample stations falling within a bay/estuarine were averaged. This data are the compilation of fishery-independent data collected by natural resource agencies of the Gulf States (Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, and Florida). It is based on trawling samples and made available through the Comparative Assessment of Gulf Estuarine ecoSystems (CAGES) database. CPUE is measured in number of organisms per hectare.
