Service Description: Scientists used a calibrated Simrad EK60 120kHz scientific echosounder to collect acoustic signature data of fish throughout the water column in regions around Puerto Rico, St. Thomas, St. John and St Croix, US Virgin Islands. The georeferenced data points were binned into 100 square meter sample area and subdivided into size groups. The subgroups are small fish (less than 11cm), medium fish (11cm-29cm) and large fish (greater than 29cm).
