Description: <DIV STYLE="text-align:Left;"><DIV><DIV><P><SPAN>This work was initiated in July 2001 to document the effect of the newly designated ecological reserve on abundance of snappers and groupers. Two-person dive teams conducted several 30-m visual census strip transects (Brock, 1954) at each station during the summer months of each year, enumerating all species of snappers and groupers observed.The work continued through 2009 over Summer full moon events adding in a benthic cover component using </SPAN><SPAN STYLE="font-style:italic;">in situ </SPAN><SPAN>pictures of quadrats analyzed topside using CPCe.</SPAN></P></DIV></DIV></DIV>
