<DIV STYLE="text-align:Left;font-size:12pt"><DIV><DIV><P STYLE="margin:0 0 11 0;"><SPAN>Boosted classification trees were used to develop this benthic habitat map depicting the distribution of the 7 habitats identified by hierarchical cluster analysis. The probability of occurrence maps for individual substrate (n=5) and biological cover (n=13) types were used as predictors. The accuracy of this map was evaluated using an independent set of field data from 328 annotations at 241 sites. The overall accuracy is 86.6% and tau is 0.84 for this map.</SPAN></P></DIV></DIV></DIV> |
