Description: This item is part of the predictive habitat modeling component of the MDBC seafloor mapping, ground-truthing, and predictive habitat modeling inventory. It is a raster representing predictions from predictive habitat modeling. The layer specifically displays predictions from the modeling study associated with the unique dataset identifier PHM000002 (Sterne et al. 2020). A maximum entropy and multinomial logistic regression modeling framework was applied to presence-background data to predict most likely habitat type at a spatial resolution of 10 m.
